12 Facts About the Habitat for Humanity ReStores in Williamsburg and Newport News

We love our ReStores at Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg.

What’s not to love?

Not only are they fun places to shop, they also support our mission of building homes, communities and hope right here in the communities we serve.

In case you’re not as familiar with the ReStores as us, here are a few of our favorite factoids. We did narrow it down to 12, but there is so much more.

1

The Williamsburg and Newport News ReStores are sister stores that are part of the Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg affiliate. Learn more about the affiliate here.

The Cars for Homes program also accepts boats, trucks, motorcycles, trailers, recreational vehicles, snowmobiles, farm and construction equipment and more.

DONATE NOW

We help as many families as we can, but the lack of decent and affordable housing remains a critical problem in our area. By donating, you will provide upfront funding for building materials and services that makes interest-free loans to Habitat partner families possible. Habitat partner families help to build their own homes - alongside volunteers - and pay an affordable mortgage. Your monetary donations enable us to continue building strength, stability and independence for future local families.
