Repairs Team Tools Wish List
A hand up, not a hand out.
That’s what Habitat for Humanity provides to the families we support with every home construction and repair project we complete.
Today, we are asking for a hand up ourselves.
Earlier in April, Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg team members discovered that overnight our tool trailer, filled with the very tools we use to perform repair work at homes throughout the community, was stolen.
The tools and the trailer itself was worth more than $7,500.
Newport News Police Department investigated the theft and thankfully located the trailer. However, the tools are still missing.
We need the community’s help! Please rally with us to replace what was stolen to ensure we can maintain our level of support and mission to build (and repair) homes and hope right here in our local community.
Our repairs team has prepared a “wish list” of tools and other needed items you can order on our behalf.
