Crushin’ It with a Cool Car Cruise In

August 6 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Come to the Williamsburg ReStore on Saturday, August 6, 2022 for a Cool Car Cruise In.

Whether you drive a muscle car or a Tesla, car enthusiasts can show off their favorite vehicle by parking in the lot of the ReStore, located at the Colony Square Shopping Center, 1303 Jamestown Road in Williamsburg from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Anyone who loves cars is invited to check out the classic models, talk with the owners, and support two great causes – Habitat for Humanity and Crushin’ It, a glass recycling campaign by the JCC Clean County Commission. Representatives of JCC will be at the cruise in, accepting glass bottles and jars for closed loop recycling and giving out purple buckets to raise awareness.

For more information, contact Jennifer Pye, Procurement Management at Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg at 757-913-5656 or by emailing jennifer@habitatpgw.org.

For more information on the glass-only recycling, visit: jamescitycountyva.gov/3853/Glass-only-Recycling.

DONATE NOW

We help as many families as we can, but the lack of decent and affordable housing remains a critical problem in our area. By donating, you will provide upfront funding for building materials and services that makes interest-free loans to Habitat partner families possible. Habitat partner families help to build their own homes - alongside volunteers - and pay an affordable mortgage. Your monetary donations enable us to continue building strength, stability and independence for future local families.
