Classic Car Meet-Up at Williamsburg ReStore a Chance to Support Two Community Causes
Whether you’re a “Fast and Furious” buff, drive a Tesla or simply enjoy the roar of an engine, the Williamsburg ReStore invites you to a Classic Car Meet-Up on Saturday, April 2, 2022.
Car enthusiasts can show off what they drive by parking in the lot of the ReStore, located at the Colony Square Shopping Center, 1303 Jamestown Road in Williamsburg. Drivers are asked to arrive by 9 a.m., to park their cars for the show that runs from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Anyone who loves cars is invited to check out the classic models, talk with the owners and support two great causes. Bring a non-perishable food item and/or gently used clothing to donate to FISH, Inc., a volunteer organization that provides food, clothing, housewares and services to people in need. By bringing a donation, you will receive a discount coupon to shop inside the ReStore at a future date.
The Williamsburg ReStore is full of treasures for all tastes. You’ll find furniture, appliances, contracting supplies — anything and everything from an inventory that changes on a daily basis. Prices are typically 30% to 90% off retail, and all proceeds go toward Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg.
The nonprofit uses the funds to build homes for local families in need. The homes are sold to qualifying families who pay back their zero-interest equivalent mortgages to the local Habitat affiliate, which cycles the money back into the community to build more homes.
The Williamsburg ReStore is open until 4 p.m. on Saturdays and will be featuring a weekend sale. For more information, contact Jennifer Pye, Procurement Management at Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg at 757-913-5656 or by emailing jennifer@habitatpgw.org.
