SUMMARY:14th Annual Run The D.O.G. Street 5K
DESCRIPTION:Do something to benefit both you and Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg by registering for the 14th annual Run the D.O.G.\, a 5K that raises funds to bring people together to build homes\, communities and hope. \nRace day is April 15\, 2023. \nProceeds will be used to build a home for a family to buy through Habitat’s Homebuyer Program. Qualifying families with low to moderate incomes who have excellent credit and steady employment purchase a home with a zero-interest mortgage and payments are then recycled to build more Habitat homes. \nBy registering for Run the D.O.G.\, you support Habitat in multiple ways. A portion of your registration fee will go directly to Habitat. You can sign up as an individual and fundraise on your own\, create your own team or join an existing team. \nRunners start on Prince George Street\, pass the Governor’s Palace and the Colonial Capitol building\, and finish the final 800 meters on what Franklin D.
